University, demonstrates how social media can be integrated
into a student affairs website. The home page includes lists of
music, books, links, and influences and inspirations. Categories
include About Us, Resources, Policies, and Kenn 2.0, Elmore’s
own blog, which integrates Facebook and Twitter. A recent
tweet to seniors: “If you could come back and do it all over

Education Guru
www.edu.guru
This site specializes in tips for Internet marketing and web
development in higher education. Colleges presented some
of the first sites on the Internet and the .edu domain is one
of the most trusted brands. Since college websites cannot
exactly measure return on investment, colleges cannot follow
the normal product blueprint and must create one of their
own. This blog, dedicated to that pursuit, includes resource
sections on social media marketing, web analytics, and search
engine optimization.
Meeting student
affairs needs one
piece at a time.
