A Review of Results from the Association for University
and College Counseling Center Directors Survey

Various studies highlighting the mental health needs of
our students and the positive impact of counseling services on college student success have enlightened all
of us about college counseling centers and their practices. The Association for University and College
Counseling Centers Directors (AUCCCD), an international organization that represents directors of coun-
seling services at four-year colleges and universities, conducts an annual survey to bring further clarity to
this focus and to provide an increased understanding of college and university counseling centers. This
article reviews key findings from AUCCCD’s most recent survey.
