The Profile of the American College Student (Profile),
administered by NASPA and powered by StudentVoice, is
a comprehensive, national, standardized survey program
that gives institutions a descriptive portrait of their students
at all levels, from first year to senior year-plus. The Profile
provides participating institutions with credible, accurate,
relevant, and useful information that can be used to inform
decision making and improve programs and services.

The Profile
· Provides the campus community with a
comprehensive and descriptive profile of all
students
· Allows institutions to compare
characteristics of their students with a
profile of students nationally
· Provides for the ability to cross-reference data
with other national and local assessment
data sets
· Allows institutions to track changes and
trends in students as they emerge and make
comparisons among different groups of
students on campus
· Requires minimal logistical and
technological coordination
· Is administered each spring via the Internet
and is designed to be completed in less than
20 minutes
